Crown Perth Details Multi-Million-Dollar Development

Crown Resorts has announced details of a multi-million-dollar development at its Crown Perth property in Australia.

The project features a series of food, beverage and entertainment venues, including a wine bar, beer garden and food hall. Crown said it will be the largest investment in the property in almost 10 years.

The Urban Food District will offer a variety of global cuisines and three new bars. This will be located adjacent to the Crown Theatre and close to Optus Stadium.

Also included in the project is a luxury wine bar. Located between the Crown Towers and Metropol hotels, it will be designed to honor Western Australia’s landscape, history and wine regions.

Hoskins has been appointed to deliver the Urban Food District, with construction to create 150 local jobs. Crown also said additional hospitality roles will be created when the venues open.

Ongoing Improvements for Crown

The announcement follows other recent investments in Crown properties in Australia. These include the new Marmont restaurant and expansion to The Palms Theatre in Melbourne, as well as the Golden Century restaurant at Crown Sydney.

Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said the project is the start of a series of new developments.

“Crown has been attracting new experiences, renowned restaurants and entertainment to the heart of Perth for 40 years,” Pereira said. “We’re delighted to be expanding and reimagining this vibrant dining precinct.”

“Locals and visitors will soon have more options than ever at Crown Perth to grab a delicious and quick bite to eat, meet up with friends for dinner, or have a beer before or after the footy.”
