Coin Trio Royal

This new game group on Aristocrat’s Neptune Single cabinet is a sequel to the popular Coin Trio hold-and-spin games. The “trio” in the original refers to the three collection pots— blue, red and green medallions.

The new version adds a fourth pot, the Golden metamorphic, and features larger jackpots than the original, as well as a unique way to land the top Royal progressive, which resets at $25,000.

There are two base games, mirroring the titles of the original games—Fortune Trails Royal and Piggy Burst Royal. The former is a 243-ways-to-win format; the latter is a 50-line game.

The three medallion/pots are reprised from the original game, each providing an enhancement to the main hold-and-spin feature. In the perceived persistence feature, every time a medallion lands on the reels, it travels up to the pot, until one, two or all three burst to trigger the hold-and-spin feature.

During the hold-and-spin feature—a standard three-spin cycle with the spin counter returning to three with each additional cash-on-reels symbol—if the blue medallion is active, it will randomly add large credit awards or one of the three lower progressives to the board. The red medallion adds multipliers to the cash-on-reels awards, and the green medallion combines all cash-on-reels credits and jackpots on the board and awards them on a single reel spot.

The new gold medallion doubles the reel array for the hold-and-spin feature. Landing the “Royal Grand Chance” symbol on the middle reel spot triggers a repeat-win feature that can award the top progressive.
