This game, featured on the massive King Max cabinet, takes Aristocrat’s trademark Hold & Spin bonus into supercharged mode with a total of five “pot”-style enhancements plus a secondary feature within the main feature. It is the first entry in the Bao Zhu Zhao Fu game family to fall in the premium game category.

    The base game is a five-reel video slot with five, 25 or 50 paylines, depending on denomination.

    The five metamorphic pots are represented by different-colored strings of firecrackers over the reels. One or more can explode to trigger the main Hold & Spin event, potentially applying multiple enhancements to the main lock-and-spin bonus. Six or more scatter symbols also can trigger the main event.

    Without any enhancements, it is a normal three-spin cycle: Coin or lower-level jackpot symbols lock in place, and the free-spin meter returns to three with each coin or jackpot. However, the bonus also can appear with any or all of the metamorphic enhancements:

     “Ultra Feature” randomly boosts collected cash-on-reel values on each spin. “Zone Feature” splits the Hold & Spin grid into colored zones. Filling any zone with coins triggers a multiplier for all values in the zone. “Double Feature” triggers a second reel array, with the bonus played out with 30 potential cash awards.

     “Twin Feature” splits each cash-on-reels award into two awards. “Extra Feature” moves the spin meter to four instead of the normal three.

    In addition to the enhancements, landing a train symbol on the reels during the Hold & Spin feature triggers a secondary Hold & Spin feature on a three-by-three grid. The cash-on-reels prizes are larger, with several in the thousands. Filling the nine spaces on the grid with cash symbols returns the Grand Jackpot, a progressive resetting at $10,000.
