Australia’s Crown Perth Adds New Food Venues

Crown Resorts has announced the addition of new venues to the Urban Food District, the biggest investment at its Crown Perth property in almost a decade.

Announced in July, the multi-million-dollar Urban Food District will open in early 2026, housing a range of bars and restaurants. Recruitment has already started for around 100 local jobs at the venue.

Las Vegas-founded Side Piece Pizza will be among those opening at the location. This will mark its entrance into the Australian market. Tekka Bar will also arrive at Crown Perth direct from Las Vegas in an Australian first.

Joining them will be Burgers by ES, a gourmet international food concept known for its egg-based sandwiches and burgers.

‘Outstanding’ Addition to Crown Perth

Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said the brands will be joined by local operators, with details to be announced soon.

“We’re excited to introduce these outstanding international venues and concepts to Crown Perth, each offering a distinctive experience new to Australia,” Pereira said. “From a quick bite before a game or show, to a fun night out with friends, the Urban Food District will have something for everyone.”

The Urban Food District is being built close to Optus Stadium and the Crown Theatre. Along with restaurants and bars, it will feature a wine attraction. This will be designed to honor Western Australia’s landscape, history and wine regions.

Other recent investments include the Marmont restaurant and expansion to The Palms Theatre in Melbourne.
