Aristocrat, Light & Wonder Settle Lawsuit

Aristocrat Gaming and Light & Wonder have settled the long-running lawsuit over L&W’s Dragon Train slot family.

The lawsuit, filed by Aristocrat in early 2024, alleged that Light & Wonder duplicated the math models of Aristocrat’s Dragon Link slots. After two years, the suppliers have reached a settlement, with L&W agreeing to compensate Aristocrat $127 million.

All legal proceedings and claims have been officially dismissed. A joint statement was issued, including an acceptance from Light & Wonder that the claims have merit.
