Amy Howe Out as CEO of FanDuel

After five years in the job, Amy Howe is stepping down as CEO of FanDuel. She will be replaced by Christian Genetski, FanDuel president. In addition, Dan Taylor will be appointed to a newly created position, president of Flutter, the parent company of FanDuel.
Howe has been the face of FanDuel, and has directed massive growth of the brand during her reign, including expansion of sports betting from 10 states to 26, creating partnerships with some of the world’s most recognizable teams and leagues. One of the few women in leadership in iGaming, Howe blazed trails in gaming integrity and responsible gaming, refusing to advertise in college stadiums or sign college athletes to NIL contracts.
Howe said the departure marks a new chapter in her life, but gave no details about future plans. Reports say she signed a separation agreement, which featured a $4.3 million payout.
