Aristocrat continues its popular Tarzan franchise with a two-game installment on the Tarzan Link progressive, with base games City of Gold and Palace of Diamonds. Both titles, featured on the Neptune Single cabinet, feature beefed-up versions of Aristocrat’s signature Hold & Spin bonus feature.
The base games are available in multiple player-selectable multi-denomination setups. There is a five-reel, 100-line version for the penny and 2-cent denominations, a 50-line setup in 5-cent and 10-cent denomination, and 10-line and five-line versions that give the player the choice of $1, $2 or $5.
Each base game features a unique free-game event. In City of Gold, the Gold Bonus free games award cash-on-reel prizes, progressives, or the Hold & Spin lock-and-respin bonus. Palace of Diamond features Wild Bonus free games, featuring stacks of wild diamond symbols.
The two main bonus events in each game are called “Hold & Spin Evolved.” Bonus symbols trigger either the Super Hold & Spin or the Super Super Hold & Spin event. The difference is the value of the cash-on-reels symbols and the value of the progressives included.
The feature progresses in the familiar manner—four or more bonus symbols lock in place to reveal cash-on-reels symbols or jackpot symbols. There are three free spins, and the meter returns to three spins with every subsequent cash-on-reels coin or jackpot symbol. The event continues until three spins without coins occur or all 15 symbols are occupied.
There are four jackpots. The Super Hold & Spin event includes the three lower ones—static awards of $10 (Mini) and $50 (Minor), and a progressive resetting at $1,000 on the lower denominations and $5,000 on the $1, $2 and $5 denominations (Major). The Super Super Hold & Spin includes the top Grand progressive, resetting at $10,000.
