River Dragons Sapphire

This game on the Orion Curve premium cabinet is an extension of the popular River Dragons game from AGS. River Dragons Jade is a sister game, with the same features and game style.

The primary game in River Dragons Sapphire is a five-reel ways-to-win game in a 3-4-4-4-3 configuration (four reel spots on the middle reels; three on the two outer reels). In this configuration there are 576 possible ways to win on each spin.

The three middle reels contain cash-on-reels symbols, jackpot symbols and scaling bet multipliers up to 10X. When these symbols land adjacent to a “Prize Surge” symbol on either of the outer reels, the player is awarded the sum of the special symbols. When Prize Surge symbols land on both outer reels, the prizes are doubled.

There are two progressives, resetting at $800 and $15,000.

Bonus symbols on reels 2 and 3 trigger an expanding-reels feature. The reels will incrementally increase to eight symbols high. In this configuration, there are potentially 4,608 ways to win on each spin. Bonus symbols on all three middle reels trigger a free-spin round, with the reels expanded to eight rows throughout the feature.

As with the original River Dragons, all game features occur through beautiful animation of two intertwined dragons atop a river scene.
