Rising Rockets

Rising Rockets

This is a unique pot collection-style game featured on IGT’s tall portrait cabinets, PeakSlant49 and PeakCurve49. There are two inaugural titles, Rising Rockets Emperor and Rising Rockets Empress.

The base game for each is a five-reel video slot available with 25 or 50 paylines. There are three rockets above the reel array—green, pink and blue. Each rocket can be triggered by like-colored dragon symbols landing on the reels, and each triggers a hold-and-re-spin bonus with a unique enhancement.

Any green dragon symbol landed may trigger the Prize Boost, where players can land multipliers of up to 25X on one or more existing coin values. The Big Bang Bonus, triggered by landing pink dragon symbols, can be played on up to four different reel arrays, and can be won up to four times during the bonus. Finally, the Spin Boost is triggered by each blue dragon landed in the base game. If a special chest symbol is landed, a prize is revealed. During the session, any mixture of the three bonuses is possible for a big win opportunity.

The goal, of course, is to activate all three rockets for a hold-and-re-spin bonus with all the enhancements included. The hold-and-re-spin event itself is a standard game mechanic of this nature, with coin symbols locked in place for three spins, the spin meter returning to three when another coin lands.

Symbols corresponding to the three lower jackpots also can be landed during the hold-and-re-spin feature. These are static bonuses of $60 (Mini) and $150 (Minor), and a progressive resetting at $750 (Major). Filling all 15 reel spots with coins triggers the top Grand progressive, resetting at $10,000.
