Novomatic Americas – Boosting Customer Entertainment
Novomatic Americas, the U.S. division of Austrian gaming supplier and operator Novomatic AG, has spent the past two years growing and evolving as a supplier to U.S. casinos.
Last year, the supplier moved its headquarters to a new, larger facility in the Chicago suburb of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, to accommodate increased business and to provide the infrastructure for future growth.
This year, Novomatic Americas launched a suite of linked progressive product lines, including the Thunder Cash Gold Link series, the Money Party Standard Link featuring a new Yummy Yummy game, the new Money Party Fresh! Link, The Ultra Boost Multi-Game, The Money Party Multi-Game and multiple games from Apex Pro Gaming in the Clover Link series.
Shortly after those games were launched at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow, Novomatic announced a management change at the Novomatic Americas subsidiary. Alexander Merwald was named the new CEO of Novomatic Americas, succeeding longtime chief Rick Meitzler.
Merwald has been with the Novomatic Group since 2012, when he took over the role as head of Novomatic AG’s Group M&A department. He was appointed managing director of Novomatic Africa in 2021, where he contributed to the restructuring of the company and continues expanding in the sales and rental segment in the region.
One of Merwald’s first tasks as head of Novomatic Americas is to prepare the company for another major trade show exhibit, this one at the Global Gaming Expo. Novomatic is set to display its solutions at G2E 2024 with a brand-new booth design, an impressive lineup of products and some exclusive surprises.
Visitors can look forward to cutting-edge solutions for casino slots, progressives, ETGs, VGTs, iGaming and groundbreaking casino management systems.
After much work and customer feedback in research and development, Novomatic plans to arrive at G2E 2024 with a dedicated product range tailored precisely to meet customer needs—both street market and Class III.
Novomatic has always been known for its innovative and often exciting hardware. A major attraction at the company’s G2E booth will be the recently launched V.I.P. X cabinet series, aimed at discerning players and at operators seeking to offer top-tier gaming entertainment.
The striking V.I.P. X Royal 1.85, the V.I.P. X Dream 3.43 and the V.I.P. X Lounge 2.32 combine unparalleled luxury with exquisite V.I.P. comfort, extra high and wide gaming screens, and a sound system built into a comfortable armchair for an immersive experience like no other.
Novomatic’s booth will also feature a suite of linked progressive product lines, including more of the wildly popular Thunder Cash Gold series and new themes in the fan-favorite Money Party Fresh! Link.
Progressive jackpot fans can look forward to the debut of Piggy Prizes, a new stand-alone progressive that’s turning heads with a “thick” series of bonus features—bursting with wins and surprises to grant some great prizes with its familiar bonus features and free games. “Throw in Globe Link, Space Booster, the robust portfolio of Thunder Cash Gold games like Charming Lady Explosion, Charming Lady Boom Coins, Fiesta of the Dead, Butterfly Quest Coins, and the Red Amazon Explosion, and you’ve got a lineup that’s packed with edge, excitement, and unbeatable winning potential,” says Kathleen McLaughlin, vice president of marketing and corporate sales, North America.
With an emphasis on market-specific offerings, Novomatic will showcase products tailored for the LATAM and VGT markets, such as Globe Link—a standout progressive jackpot aimed specifically at LATAM casinos.
Additionally, the company will present its street-smart VGT and VLT products for Illinois, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Puerto Rico, promising unmatched excitement in these markets.
This year, Novomatic Americas is placing special emphasis on the VGT markets, presenting an unprecedented range of products for VGT and VLT customers.
“Novomatic Americas is immensely proud to reveal the future of Novomatic gaming innovation at this year’s G2E in Las Vegas,” says McLaughlin. “From the new Piggy Prizes progressive to the extraordinary V.I.P. X cabinet series, attendees will be able to explore the next generation of Novomatic gaming entertainment.
“Novomatic Americas’ booth 1259 will be where innovation, luxury, and street-smart performance collide.”
