Legends: Queen of the Nile

This is one of several games Aristocrat is releasing in its “Legends” series. The series takes legendary Aristocrat games—video slots that have been popular for years among Aristocrat players; the most successful games in the slot-maker’s history—and presents them in two formats, “Classic” and “Deluxe.”

The Classic version of each game is the exact version that has been in casinos since the game’s release, with the same graphics and identical game play. The Deluxe version is the updated version of the same game—the basic game play and features are the same, but the game is updated with modern technology for faster play, improved graphics and imagery, and in some cases, different bonus options.

The Egyptian-themed Queen of the Nile is one of the first the slot-maker used for the Legends presentation. The Classic version is a straight 20-line video slot with a five-credit ante bet. Its bonus round is the standard 15 free games with all wins tripled, and the ante wager activates the two progressive jackpots and certain bonus prizes.

Queen of the Nile Deluxe adds stacked wild symbols (Cleopatra) and a player choice between more volatile bonus rounds—10 free games with all wins tripled; or six free games in which wins with the Jade Dragon symbol substituting as a wild symbol are multiplied by 15, 30 or 40.

During the free-spin round, the player is prompted to touch all wild Cleopatra symbols that land on the screen, to reveal either a bonus amount, “Major” or “Minor.” Collecting three of either the Major or Minor jackpot symbol awards that jackpot. The minor resets at $50; the major resets at $1,000.
