Empire Technological Group was founded in Las Vegas in 2012 with an original emphasis on table game products and table game technology. Empire has a stable of table game themes and table game technology products that are both unique and player- and operator-tested and approved.
Empire’s technology is designed specifically for table games and table game operators, and provides real-time revenue data for operators to make decisions based on revenue—not on visual observations or data that is many hours old. Empire holds multiple patents around this technology.
SMRT Choice Products is the brand under which Empire holds five products that are deployed today. Another four products are in development, with deployment to the market within the next six months. All the products are market-tested prior to release. SMRT Choice Products include SMRT Floor, SMRT Trend Board, SMRT Trend Wall, SMRT Server and SMRT Power Shoe.
Empire has created and licensed several table games such as Golden Frog Baccarat, Pai Gow Royals, Pai Gow Poker Dragon versus Tiger War, Vegas 6+ Hold Em Poker and several others.
Golden Frog Baccarat is by far the most successful game due to its additional, configurable side bets, which increase the hold percentage for operators. Operators can choose from up to five unique side bets.
These products have allowed Empire to establish itself as a premier supplier of tables games in several of the largest California card rooms. Empire has been successful in moving into the casino space as well with SMRT Choice Products and table games. Empire’s table games are located in the premier locals casino operations in Nevada as well several tribal casino properties in California.
In 2018, Empire made the decision to enter the video gaming market. In just under three years, it has successfully designed, developed, built and launched a video game cabinet and more than 20 titles. The initial launch of the Akkadian cabinet was in the summer of 2019 in four locations in Southern California and in several cruise ships operated by Carnival Cruise Lines. Since then, Empire has installed games in Oklahoma, in more than 20 locations to date, with pending installations scheduled for 10 locations in California, four in Florida, eight in Mississippi and two in Arkansas.
Empire holds gaming licenses in seven jurisdictions and is in the process of finishing its Nevada license. The company continues to pursue additional gaming licenses.
Future plans for Empire are bright, with video game development for 15 additional titles and a new cabinet slated for launch in 2021.
