Reno, Nevada has a strong locals market that fuels many of the major casinos there. While Grand Sierra Resort, the former Reno Hilton, does well in that market, it is one of the few that also caters to travelers and destination resort visitors. With a plethora of attractions, the Grand Sierra is well positioned for a quick recovery from the Covid 19 lockdown. Senior Vice President of Marketing Chris Abraham explains how the resort is positioned in the Reno market and why its many attractions draws a wide range of visitors. He also talks about the owner Alex Merulo and his commitment to the property. He spoke with GGB Publisher Roger Gros at the Grand Sierra in August.
