Cantor Opens Palms Sports Book

Cantor Gaming and Palms Casino Resort last month opened the new Cantor race and sports book and poker room at the Palms Casino Resort. It is the sixth race and sports book operation in Las Vegas owned and operated by Cantor Gaming, which originated operations such as in-running wagering and mobile wagering in its books.

The state-of-the-art facility is the first Cantor book operation to also include a poker room. “We saw a direct correlation between people who play poker and people who play sports,” Cantor Gaming CEO Lee Amaitis said. “I thought the opportunity for us to acquire the poker business of the Palms fit into this beautiful environment. We are going to jump-start a new wave of how people want to play poker.”

The Cantor Race & Sports Book is a result of a multimillion-dollar refurbishment project spanning 9,840 square feet that was completed in less than three months. The race and sports book offers the latest in technological advancements and convenience, including Cantor Gaming’s Android-compatible mobile sports wagering application.
