Agua Caliente Casinos Announce Promotions

Aqua Caliente Casinos last month announced that Michael J. Facenda, vice president of marketing for Agua Caliente Casinos for the past two years, has been named senior vice president and general manager of the company’s third casino, Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, which will open in the fall.

Facenda’s 30-plus years in gaming have included general manager and vice president of marketing roles at casinos all over the U.S., focusing on advertising, branding, public relations, loyalty card and database operations, and quality service management. He also was vice president and general manager of gaming at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino in Indiana.

Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City is rising in a 12.5-acre lot in Cathedral City, Riverside County, California. Besides 500 slots and eight gaming tables, it will have dining, bars, retail shopping, live entertainment and tribal offices.
