Consumers everywhere have long grown accustomed to the speed and convenience of cashless payments, but the gaming industry has been slow to fully adopt the technology. The industry’s reliance on cash and its fragmented regulatory landscape are big hurdles to overcome, but the opportunity is there for those who have the technology and scalability. One such hopeful is Crane Payment Innovations and its vice president and general manager of connectivity Evan Groat. Groat spoke with GGB Managing Editor Jess Marquez at G2E in Las Vegas in October.
