Crown Perth to Launch Gladstones Premium Wine Bar
Crown Resorts has announced details of a new premium wine bar that will open at its Crown Perth property.
Located between Crown Towers and Crown Metropol, Gladstones will serve hotel guests, visitors and theater-goers. Construction work at the new venue recently began at Crown Perth.
The venue will be named after Dr. John Gladstones, who first identified the Margaret River region’s potential for producing wine.
“Gladstones will offer a truly exceptional experience for our guests,” Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said. “It will showcase the best wines Western Australia and the world have to offer – while still being accessible to anyone celebrating a night out or a special occasion at Crown.”
Gladstones to Celebrate Wine Legacy at Crown Perth
Helen Gladstones, daughter of Dr. Gladstones, said she is proud of her father’s legacy and to see his influence recognized.
“It’s lovely to see Crown recognizing what he did — not loudly and not with fanfare — but with quiet conviction,” Gladstones said.
“That seed he planted changed the future of wine growing in our state, laying the groundwork for something much bigger than himself. I know he’d be quietly delighted to see how far it’s come.”
Gladstones joins the recently announced Urban Food District as part of a major investment in the Perth property.
