Cannery announces two appointments

Cannery Casino Resorts named Charles Hunsucker director of table games for the Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel scheduled to open in summer.

Hunsucker joined the company in 2002 as an assistant shift manager and was promoted to shift manager in 2003.

Before coming to the Cannery, Hunsucker worked for the Sahara Hotel and Casino and Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, as well as the Colorado Belle and Edgewater casinos in Laughlin and the Carson Nugget in Carson City.

Cannery also named Nelandra Anselmo director of human resources at Cannery Casino & Hotel and Rampart Casino. Anselmo joined Cannery Casino Resorts in 2003 as corporate manager of employee relations and assumed additional responsibility as manager of employee training and development in 2005. Prior to joining Cannery Casino Resorts, Anselmo served as manager of corporate benefits/member services for Coast Casinos.
