Winner's Nights

This video slot, on Konami’s new KP3 format, is the newest game in the manufacturer’s KonXion 4-5-4-5-4 series. The numbers refer to the spaces on each reel, which are shaped as hexagons—four symbols each on the first, third and fifth reels with five symbols on the second and fourth reels. According to the manufacturer, this setup permits a much higher hit frequency than the original version of KonXion, which had a 3-4-3-4-3 configuration.

KonXion features clustered wins, with jackpots for any two or more matching adjacent symbols. The player wagers at least eight credits per reel—a minimum of 40 credits—to activate all the symbols, and can wager as much as 2,000 credits per spin. All wins except scatters are multiplied by per-reel bet level. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total bet.

The base game includes “Action Stacked Symbols” on the second and fourth reels. Randomly at the beginning of a spin, one of the main game symbols replaces the symbols on several reel spots to form a cluster of adjacent winning symbols—increasing winning combinations and the chances of activating the free game feature.

The free game feature is triggered by three, four or five dice symbols, for 10, 15 or 25 free games, respectively. A different reel set is used for the free games, and the “Mirror Reels” feature is activated. In this feature, randomly, the first and fifth reels will show the same symbols and the second and fourth reels will show the same symbols—increasing the chance for five-symbol wins. The free-spin round can be re-riggered within the free games.
