TransAct Strengthens South American Team

Printing supplier TransAct Technologies announced an expansion of its sales team in South America with two appointments.

Louis Kelly, who was recently named national sales director for the U.S., has been promoted to director of sales for the Americas. Sales executive Diego Mejia has been named technical sales engineer for North and South America.

Kelly, a 12-year gaming veteran who has succeeded in promoting the company’s Epic 950 as the printer of choice for many North American customers, will expand his role to oversee sales, support and distribution for North America, South America and the Caribbean.

Mejia will lead the integration process for the Epic printer line with focus on the South American region, and will work closely with TransAct distributors throughout the region. Mejia also will work closely with customers to implement Epicentral, the coupon-producing software product that is used in concert with Epic printers.

“Both Lou and Diego are highly valued members of the TransAct team,” said Tracey Chernay, executive vice president of sales and marketing for TransAct Technologies. “Their commitment to excellence, dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for our customers and distributors has greatly contributed to our success throughout the Americas.”
