TransAct Signs Casino Contract

Printing supplier TransAct Technologies announced that it has signed a contract with an unnamed U.S. casino company to supply its Epicentral Print System for a network of more than 1,700 slots. The project is projected to go live before the end of the year.

As part of the installation process, the casino is upgrading 500 printers in its slot machines to the TransAct Epic 950 printer in order to ensure full usage of the system.

The Epicentral Print System, connected directly to TransAct’s ServerPort device inside the slot machine, is an easy-to-use, cost-efficient software system that enables casinos to internally develop marketing programs and promotional coupons to be distributed to customers on a real-time basis at a slot machine.

Additionally, the system works with all existing slot systems and games, as it is separate and distinct from the slot system itself.
