The New Normal?

Every G2E has been different, and it’s never “normal”

The New Normal?

If you’ve attended the Global Gaming Expo for any number of years, you know every year has been different. Yes, they all have keynote presentations. They all offer insightful education sessions. They all have great networking opportunities, whether it’s during the day between sessions or on the exhibit floor, or at the evening functions where you can find delish food and drinks, and friends you haven’t seen for a while.

This year, lots of attendees and exhibitors are hoping for a return to normal. The last two years have been brutal, and it’s no fun when your routine is interrupted so rudely.

But with G2E, what really is normal, after all? Normal might be the celebrities that gather to promote the products. Or the high profile keynotes that make news and attract attention. Or the packed conference sessions which offer information to improve the way you do your job. Or the acres upon acres of slot machines, table games and related devices that will attract new customers and boost your gaming revenues. Or when the best and brightest of the tribal leaders explain what makes gaming so important to their nations.

But it’s really the surprises that make each G2E something special. How about the year the “Shark Tank” showed up to evaluate new gaming products? Or the year the Vegas Golden Knights Drum Line lit up the show floor? How about when you stumbled across Mike Tyson behind a pile of boxing gloves?

So, normal? You can keep it. We expect extraordinary at this year’s G2E, and if the past is any indication of the future, G2E 2022 will deliver.
