SOSH Architects' O'Connor Retires

SOSH Architects has announced that Thomas J. O’Connor, one of the firm’s founding principals, has retired.

O’Connor has been in the business more than 34 years. He will not spend all his time golfing, however; the company announced he will be “transitioning into the role of design consultant over the next few months.”

“Tom has been a strong leader from the very beginning,” said Tom Sykes, another principal at SOSH. “The partners and I are extremely grateful for his countless contributions to the growth and development of our firm.”

“I have been privileged to work with some of the most talented and dedicated architects and design professionals in the business,” O’Connor said. “After more than three decades with SOSH, it’s time for a shift in my position which will allow for a new generation of leadership in the firm.”

The company is named for its four founding partners: Sykes, O’Connor, William A. Salerno and Nory Hazaveh.
