Chris Schroder was recently named Colorado’s gaming director, taking over for Dan Hartman, who retired in May.
In his new position, Schroder will play a vital role in overseeing and guiding the development of the gaming industry in the state. His responsibilities include formulating and implementing strategic plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders and promoting responsible gaming practices.
Schroder has an impressive background in the gaming industry. With a degree in business administration and a specialization in gaming management, Schroder hopes to hone his skills and knowledge to excel in his new role.
Prior to his appointment, he held various leadership positions in renowned gaming companies, where he successfully implemented strategic initiatives and drove significant growth. Schroder’s passion for gaming, coupled with his business acumen, makes him the perfect fit to lead the gaming industry in Colorado.
“When I previously worked in Colorado, I highly respected and appreciated the role of the Division of Gaming in regulating the gaming industry,” Schroder said. “To now be a member of this team, working alongside this group of dedicated experts in gaming, is truly an honor.”
