
Baha Mar Ltd. has announced the appointment of Paul V. Pusateri as chief operating officer of the Nassau resort. In his new role, Pusateri will be responsible for all day-to-day operations at the .5 billion destination resort in the Caribbean.
Baha Mar, which covers 1,000 acres on 3,000 feet of beachfront, will also be home to Rosewood at Baha Mar, Mondrian at Baha Mar and Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar, and offer 2,200 luxury rooms, suites and residences. It will also have an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, 200,000 square feet of convention and meeting space and a 2,000-seat performing arts center.
Pusateri also will serve as general manager of the Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, which is scheduled to open in December 2014.
Previously, Pusateri served as chief operating officer of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, president of the Palms Casino Resort and Palms Place, and senior vice president of the Venetian and Palazzo resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.
