Peter DeRaedt Leaving IGSA

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) announced the departure of its longstanding president, Peter DeRaedt.

Under DeRaedt’s leadership, the association developed numerous standards that have been adopted worldwide and which have had positive transformational impacts on many gaming companies.

In recognition of his unparalleled contributions, the IGSA Board of Directors has conferred upon DeRaedt the honorary title of president emeritus for life. Additionally, he has agreed to remain available in an advisory capacity to IGSA for the next two years.

Mark Pace, currently IGSA vice president, will become acting president. Pace has been a part of IGSA for over 20 years, during which he has held various positions within the association including committee chair, treasurer, vice chairman of the board, and founder and managing director of GSA Europe.

The board will conduct a thorough vetting process before announcing the formal appointment of the next president at the first board meeting of 2024.
