Slot supplier Atronic International announced that Matjaz Petek has been named gaming operations manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Petek was a longtime executive of Slovenia’s Alfastreet Gaming Instruments, and the company cited his Balkans experience as instrumental in its decision to hire him. He will help develop Atronic’s recurring revenue segments in Slovenia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Croatia and Bosnia.
Petek has more than 18 years of gaming industry experience, and spent a good part of his career in Casino Portoroz in Slovenia, and later with Alfastreet, one of the largest manufacturers of multi-player machines. His past experience as a consultant gives him a broad view of his clients’ needs. Petek is based in both Ljubljana, Slovenia, and Graz, Austria.
