Ocean's Glory

With this video slot, Bally introduces a novel six-by-four reel setup and a new presentation of stacked symbols called “Super Symbols.” The underwater theme uses intricate graphics and artwork to recreate the habitat of the game’s central dolphin character.

Ocean’s Glory is a six-reel video slot. The six reels have four symbols each instead of the normal three. The wider play area means there is plenty of room to execute the primary game’s Super Symbols feature.

Super Symbols are giant symbols that cover four, nine or even 24 reel spots at once, forming large blocks of stacked symbols for increased chances of winning.

Super Symbols cover a two-by-two, three-by-three or four-by-four grid of symbols on the screen. The four-by-four Super Symbol, of course, covers the entire play screen with one symbol, for the largest award.

The Super Symbols greatly increase the value of the main free-spin bonus round. Three or four scattered Free Games symbols trigger seven or 15 free games, respectively. According to the manufacturer, the average win on this bonus is 21 times the total bet. It may not occur as frequently as a typical free-spin bonus (about half as frequently, in fact), but the potential for huge credit awards compensates for the lower frequency.

The top award of 1,000 times the line bet is triggered by six dolphins on any payline, in either the base game or on a free spin.
