Mohegan Sun PA Names Carlucci President and GM

Pennsylvania’s Mohegan Sun Pocono has named Tony Carlucci as the property’s new president and general manager. He replaces Mike Bean, who announced his resignation in May.

Carlucci is a 34-year veteran of the casino industry. He most recently was general manager of Penn National’s Hollywood Casino St. Louis. Prior to that, he was director of operations at Empress Casino Joliet, where he moved after 20 years as director of food and beverage at Harrah’s Atlantic City.

Carlucci is expected to join the property within the next 60 days, the casino announced in a press release. His appointment is still pending licensing and regulatory approvals, according to a memo from Tom Burke, chief operating officer of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, sent to Mohegan Sun Pocono employees.
