MGM Names Hospitality Chief

MGM Resorts International has named Michael Evans as chief operating officer of MGM Hospitality, the company’s subsidiary that operates hotels and resorts in international destinations.

Evans was previously executive vice president of global development for MGM Hospitality. Prior to MGM, he held key senior management positions with Marriott International from 1998 to 2008, and was an attorney in private practice in Miami. He replaces Gamal Aziz, who left last year for a similar position at Wynn Resorts.
