Manitoba Lotteries Selects Spielo

Spielo International Canada, a subsidiary of Lottomatica Group, recently announced beginning in late 2012, it will provide Manitoba Lotteries with 2,000 new prodiGi Vu video lottery terminals and other games. The VLTs will come with eight games, with two more offered in 2013 and 2014, for a total of 12 games. Manitoba Lotteries also may purchase additional game updates.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Manitoba Lotteries, Winston Hodgins, added, “Manitoba Lotteries is interested in diversifying the VLT mix in our province in order to provide Manitobans with the best games in the market. We recognized the performance of Spielo International’s VLTs and games in other markets, and the ability to receive more frequent product updates was a critical aspect that the successful vendors, including Spielo International, are providing.”

Spielo International also will install in late 2012 an Intelligen central system to monitor Manitoba Lotteries’ 6,000 VLTs. The system will offer Advanced Business Intelligence, Distributed Game Management and Progressives. Specifically designed for distributed VLT customers, Intelligen’s open-standard interfaces will allow Manitoba Lotteries to manage its gaming program efficiently and effectively.
