LV Sands Promotes Senior VP

Gayle M. Hyman, deputy general counsel for Las Vegas Sands Corp., was recently named senior vice president and general counsel to the gaming company.

“Gayle’s dedication and hard work over the past five years has not gone unnoticed,” said Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson. “She has the complete confidence of our management team and our board of directors, and I have no doubt she will be successful in her new role.”

Hyman joined Sands in 2005 after serving as deputy general counsel of finance and securities for Allegeny Energy, Inc. She has also worked as an attorney for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
