With this game, AGS takes the classic patriotic theme and injects it with the slot-maker’s typical lineup of multiple bonus events, including an integral bonus wheel on top of the game.
The five-reel, 27-line base game contains two random bonus features. When a rocket symbol lands in the last position on the third reel, it shoots up to the top screen to reveal a number of wild symbols, which are placed on the reels, after which the win is re-evaluated. Also, randomly during the base game, two or three reels will turn into firecrackers. They explode to fill the reels with wild symbols, after which the reels spin again to reveal an enhanced win.
The top base-game award is a progressive resetting at $1,000, triggered by five scattered red 7s.
There are two main bonus events. The “Hyper Wild Super Spin” prompts the player to choose among 14 coins to reveal reel symbols. The chosen symbols are then added to a special set of reels, along with wild symbols, for a bonus free-spin round with wins enhanced by the wilds and extra symbols.
When two wheel symbols land on the reels, the Revolution Wheel Bonus is triggered. The top wheel spins to either a credit amount, a 2X multiplier applied to the bet, or one of two secondary bonus events:
“Patriot Spins” causes wild symbols to freeze in place during a free-spin round. The spins with wild symbols in place continue until the player lands a five-of-a-kind combination.
The “Tea Party Bonus” replaces the reels with a scene of crates floating in Boston Harbor next to a boat. The player is prompted to choose crates to reveal bonus prizes. If all of the crates are opened without a symbol to end the bonus, it triggers another mini-bonus called “Liberty Star,” in which the player chooses from three stars to reveal another credit award.
