Casino floor personnel can tap into real-time systems data, robust tools, new paperless processes, and practical alerts on Konami Gaming, Inc.’s Konetic employee app. Available via iOS and Android, this powerful mobile app drives real-time data to and from casino personnel, so they manage day-to-day floor needs with the aid of a convenient smartphone tool.

Progressive sign meter readings, cash drop processes, voucher redemptions, MEAL service codes, and service calls are seamlessly managed within the app. In addition, staff can also use the app to perform TITO ticket redemptions, thereby reducing queues and traffic at the cage and kiosks. Konetic can be configured to deploy automated dispatching to employee mobile devices, or administrators can leverage manual mode to assign service calls to specific employees.

Konetic’s Dispatch module empowers floor personnel to receive, manage and respond to service call alerts, MEAL service codes, and jackpot processing through their mobile device. Employees are instantly delivered details, to quickly act on potential issues and help ensure a seamless play experience for guests. Permissioned employees can service jackpots, wide-area progressives (WAP), cancel credit, and manage disputes with convenient mobile tracking, logs, processes and documents. Each step is completed digitally through the app’s easy workflow—from pulling patron records to digital tax form signing.

Konetic also brings streamlined mobile management to the cash drop process, making soft drops and counts as easy as a barcode scan. The app is designed to leverage a smartphone’s built-in camera for all barcode and ticket scanning, allowing permissioned users to assign cold cans and hot cans to a slot machine. Then permissioned employees can use the app to scan a slot machine’s asset number bar code and the outgoing/incoming hot or cold cash can. The cash can is associated with that machine, logged in the database, and accessible for internal reporting and accountability.

In addition, Konetic offers a built-in Progressive Signs module, which allows teams to monitor progressive meter sign readings throughout the casino floor and enter updates directly through the app. Employees can pull up progressives in a flash with a simple name search and perform modifications in just moments.
