JCM to Buy FutureLogic

JCM to Buy FutureLogic

The spate of consolidation on the supply side of the industry has moved from mergers involving the major slot manufactures to the companies that supply the peripherals for slots, as cash handling supplier JCM Global Corporation announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire FL Group, Inc., known to the industry as FutureLogic, Inc., a leading supplier of ticket printers and couponing systems for slot machines.

JCM is reducing competition in one sector of its business through the purchase—the company has long distributed the Nanoptix brand of slot ticket printers to casinos.

The acquisition adds to JCM’s extensive line of peripheral component products, including bill validators, printers and digital media. FutureLogic printers and couponing solutions, such as Ticket2Go, TableXchange and the PromoNet couponing system, provide key technology platforms for growth initiatives and recurring revenue. The products will strengthen and diversify JCM’s peripheral portfolio to the marketplaces and industries it serves globally, which include banking, gaming, kiosk, retail and transportation.

In addition to the FutureLogic line of products, JCM will continue to market, sell, service and support the Nanoptix line of printers, including the award-winning PayCheck 4 thermal printer.
