Isle Names Senior VPs

Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. announced that Roger Deaton has been named senior vice president of the company’s Lady Luck brand and Arnold Block has been named senior vice president of the company’s Isle brand.
The appointments have been made to align the corporate structure of the company with the strategic plan that creates two distinct brands offering two distinct gaming experiences. Both Deaton and Block will report to President and Chief Operating Officer Virginia McDowell.
Deaton is a veteran Isle executive. He joined the company at its inception in 1992, serving in a variety of roles including regional vice president, vice president and general manager of the company’s properties in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Lake Charles, Louisiana. He began his gaming career in Lake Tahoe before moving to Atlantic City as part of the original Resorts International team.
Block joins the company from Harrah’s Entertainment, where he most recently served as general manager of that company’s St. Louis operation. He guided that property to the market’s leading position, retiring from Harrah’s last year. Prior to joining Harrah’s, Block worked in a variety of leadership capacities for Argosy Gaming.
