This is one of three games in Bally’s new Instant Riches series (the other two are Cash Mountain and Buried Treasure), a group of five-level progressive video slots on the advanced Alpha Pro Series cabinet.

Gold Mine features a five-reel, 30-line base game with a 150-credit max bet. It is a high-volatility program using Bally’s Quick Hit math model. Progressive jackpots are paid for lining up from five to nine “Instant Riches” symbols on the game screen, with the maximum bet wagered. Progressive levels are operator-configurable.

The game also returns a jackpot equal to the total bet for three Instant Riches symbols, and five times the total bet for four symbols.

The game features a free-spin bonus, initiated when two or more bonus symbols appear on reels one, three or five. The player is awarded five free spins, with the bonus triggering symbols serving as wild symbols. The player can win either five or 10 additional free games during the free-spin session, by landing one or two “More Free Games” symbols, respectively.

As the name implies, the Quick Hit progressives are very frequent, with one occurring every 192 games on average. Free-spin bonuses occur an average of every 109 spins.

The game is available on either the Pro Series V22/22 Upright or Pro Series V22/26 Slant cabinet.
