U.K.-based Inspired Gaming Group has signed a content supply deal with Norway’s monopoly gaming operator Norsk Tipping.
The four-year deal will see Inspired provide slots, fixed-odds games and other content for the Norwegian operator’s Multan interactive video terminal platform. The games are all in the supplier’s HD Gaming series.
The first games are expected to go live in mid- September. Initially, they will be available on the system’s 3,000 terminals, with that number likely to increase over the life of the contract. Norsk Tipping is authorized for a total of 10,000 terminals.
Inspired will modify current versions of its software and content to comply with the strict regulatory environment in Norway. The supplier faced a similar challenge in Italy, where it is providing server-based gaming in the VLT market.
Mat Ingram, managing director of games at Inspired, said in a press release, “It is fantastic to be awarded one of only three game developer contracts by such a well-respected organization, and we’re proud to have proven our strengths in the highly competitive tender process.”
Torpor Allied, CEO of Norsk Tipping, said, “The range and diversity of content produced by Inspired sets the company apart from many of the other operators that we saw in the tender process.
“This range, taken together with Inspired’s ability to customize their content for our platform and regulatory environment, makes them the perfect fit for our particular needs.”
