Innovation Appoints project Development VP

Innovation Project Development, an affiliate of the Innovation Group of Companies, has announced that Richard (Chuck) Miller has joined the firm as executive vice president.

Miller brings nearly four decades of diverse gaming industry knowledge to IPD. Most recently, he was president and CEO of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw IndiansÆ Pearl River Resort.

“Chuck is one of the most respected industry specialists I have ever had the pleasure to work with,” said IPD President Robert Kelly, who worked with Miller as they transitioned in senior management positions together during the Grand Casinos, Inc., Park Place Entertainment and Caesars World, Inc. consolidations. “Throughout the last 36 years, he has contributed at every level of gaming resort operations, working his way up to the most senior positions at todayÆs most successful properties.”

As his first IDP project, Miller will oversee the St. Regis MohawksÆ expansion of the Mohawk Akwesasne Casino in New York.
