IGT to Install Systems, UGA in Arizona

Slot and system manufacturer International Game Technology announced that Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment will be installing the IGT Advantage System Solution and IGT Universal Game Adaptor (UGA) at its Tucson, Sahurita and Why, Arizona, locations. The install also effectively marks the replacement of their previous system from another systems manufacturer.

The IGT Advantage System and IGT UGA create a path for an open-system architecture which allows the use of the IGT Service Window across all slots on the gaming floor, including other manufacturers’ games. Advantage also includes the use of sbX Media Manager, to increase player engagement through the use of highly flexible applications, allowing Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment to deliver branded messages directly through the game screen.

“The Advantage System enables for a dynamic way to utilize flexible Intelligent Bonusing options at Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment,” said Eric Tom, executive vice president of global sales at IGT, “while the IGT UGA will provide their players with enhanced experiences through an open standards-based gaming floor.”
