Slot maker IGT will be using printers from FutureLogic in its machine installations worldwide. The GEN2 Universal and GEN3 Evolution printers will be the printers of choice for IGT.
“IGT’s decision to specify our TITO printers validates our commitment to player research, our close collaboration with our EGM customers and regulatory agencies, and our dedication to the development of ‘future-proof’ peripherals for this rapidly evolving industry,” said Nick Micalizzi, VP of domestic sales & marketing at FutureLogic. “We are particularly pleased that IGT recognizes the value of our latest introduction, the GEN3 Evolution printer.”
John Chamberlain, platforms director at IGT, said, “We chose FutureLogic as our preferred printer partner based on their innovative technology and their reputation for developing solutions that help casinos streamline operations and enhance the gaming experience. We look forward to partnering with them.”
FutureLogic’s GEN2 Universal printer is server-based ready and supports both SPC (IGT) and other protocols. The device can be configured to communicate with multiple hosts simultaneously.
The new GEN3 Evolution printer features larger paper capacity and faster printing and presenting speed. It will be on display at the IGT booth 910 and at the FutureLogic booth 2431b at G2E 2010.
