Horseshoe Casino

The Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, may open two or three months ahead of schedule, if work crews continue the current pace. The 5 million casino expansion, which includes more gaming space, restaurants and a theater, had been scheduled to open in the fall of 2008. Now, it could open in the late summer. The number of employees is expected to increase by 400 to 2,700.
