Hickox Named GM at Holiday Inn Macau

Sands China plucked Troy Hickox, an executive from the Venetian Macao, to take charge at the Holiday Inn Macao, a new hotel that is part of the Cotai Central property that opened last month. Hickox, of Chinese and Australian descent, has lived in Hong Kong for the past 28 years.

Hickox has 18 years hotel experience, and helped to open the Venetian Macao and the Paiza Club. As general manager of the Holiday Inn, he is leading the largest Holiday Inn in the world, a four-star hotel with 1,224 guest rooms.

Sands China manages the property under a franchise agreement with InterContinental Hotels, the parent company of Holiday Inn.
