This new slot on the Viridian wide-screen cabinet offers a new take on multiple reel and on Reel Power, the game style initiated by Aristocrat in which the player wagers to activate reels instead of paylines, and all wins are paid as scatters for 247 possible paying combinations on each spin.

In this case, those 247 ways to win are multiplied by four. A wager of 100 credits to 300 credits activates four separate sets of reels, each with the Reel Power setup of scatter-pay wins. This is a low-volatility game, which means high hit frequency for the player.

The other unique aspect of this game is a multi-layered free-game bonus setup. The gazelle symbol is the bonus trigger. When two of them appear in one of the reel sets, one free game is added to that reel set’s “Free Game Meter.” The meter has a pre-set number of two free spins when play begins, and can go up to a maximum of 50.

The free spins are triggered when three gazelle symbols land on any reel set. When that happens, all free spins on the Free Game Meter play out on that reel set. If two “Feature Sunset” symbols land during a free spin, one free spin is added. If three gazelle symbols appear on a free spin, five free games are added.

If gazelle symbols landed after the meter was maxed out at 50, any additional free spins are added after the meter is reset to 2 following the bonus sequence.

If three gazelle symbols land in a horizontal straight line on any active game screen, it triggers the “Super Free Game Feature.” In this feature, the free games accumulated on the Free Game Meter for the reel set are played out on all four sets of reels.

During Super Free Games, when two gazelle symbols appear, one extra Super Free Game is awarded. If three “Feature Sunset” symbols appear during a Super free spin, five extra Super Free Games are awarded. The Super Free Game meter also maxes out at 50 free spins.
