Gasser Enters Australian Market

Youngstown, Ohio-based Gasser Chair Company, one of the leading suppliers of seating to the casino industry, announced that it has extended its sales operations into the Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea markets.

As part of the effort, the company has appointed native Australian Mark German as its new regional sales representative, based out of the southwestern Sydney suburb of Bankstown, New South Wales.

German has a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time working at management levels in the sales and gaming industries. Previous positions include divisional sales manager at Aristocrat Leisure Industries, sales manager at Olympic Video Gaming, which became the second largest manufacturer of slot machines in Australia under German’s leadership, and New South Wales sales manager for International Game Technology.

BMM Selected to Certify Systems in Mexico

Testing organization BMM International announced that it has been selected by Verificacion Versatil, the leading authority on information security industry standards and tax laws in Mexico, to review and certify systems of Authorized Service Providers (PSAs) for both land-based and online gaming throughout the country.

The certification ensures that tax reporting is appropriate and accurate as regulated by Mexico’s Servicio de Administracion Tributaria (SAT). BMM will review the systems of PSAs for Mexican casino operators, perform necessary testing, and report results to the SAT.
