G2E 2013 Breaks Attendance Records

The American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, partners in the annual Global Gaming Expo, have announced that almost 16,250 attendees came to the trade show and conference event in 2013. Those are the highest numbers since 2008 and a 3 percent increase over 2012, the partners said.

Total attendance at G2E 2013 including attendees and exhibitors reached nearly 26,300. G2E 2013 was held for three days in September at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

“Year after year, G2E has proven to be the leading trade show and conference event for gaming professionals,” said Greg Topalian, senior vice president at Reed Exhibitions. “The growth in attendance and exhibits and the success of our newest offerings such as the Emerging Leaders Program prove that G2E is a one-of-a-kind event-providing innovative programming that tracks industry trends and implements consumer insights.”

More than 455 companies exhibited at G2E. This year’s trade show is scheduled for September 29 – October 2.
