Five Suppliers Honored For Service

Five gaming suppliers—Economical Janitorial & Paper Supplies, Endara Enterprises, Technology Group Solutions, Durand Food Services and Sobel Westex—were honored by the American Gaming Association for the Diverse Vendor of the Year Award. The awards were presented in Mississippi at a Congressional Black Caucus policy conference.

All suppliers are minority, woman and disadvantaged business enterprises. They are nominated by AGA-member companies. Criteria are set by the individual companies based on their unique needs from the suppliers.

It is the fourth year vendors that are minority, woman and disadvantaged business enterprises have been honored by the gaming association.

“A commitment to diversity in hiring and procurement is a priority for our industry, and this year’s set of winners all share key attributes that make the gaming industry thrive: dedication and commitment to excellence,” said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, CEO of the gaming association.

Following the presentation of awards, winners shared their experiences on working in the gaming industry, and advised other diverse businesses.
