Fish'n For Loot

This is the first Bally game to feature a bonus using the interactive iDeck button deck—the touch-sensitive LCD panel that serves as a traditional button panel during base game play, but transforms into an interactive device for bonus game play that mimics an arcade-game joystick.

The base game for Fish’n For Loot is a 40-line video slot with a 400-credit maximum bet—the player chooses from one to 10 credits per line. The game-screen LCD video monitor displays an under-sea scene, with transparent reels superimposed on top. When three scattered blowfish appear on the reels, the “Bubble Bonus” is triggered. Using the iDeck device, the player shoots bubbles at fish passing by on the video screen. It is perceived skill, but it is masterfully accomplished, replicating the skill factor of arcade-style shooting in a feature Bally calls “U-Shoot.”

There also is a free-games bonus that can extend to a great number of spins. The player is awarded three free games initially, with all wins tripled. Additional free games are won every time a stingray appears on the reels, up to a total of 50 free spins.

With its U-Shoot play dynamic, Fish’n For Loot won the award as Top Slot Product in November’s Global Gaming Business Gaming & Technology Awards.
