Event Raises $100,000  For Gaming Research

The 13th annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic, presented by JCM Global, recently raised 0,000 for the National Center for Responsible Gaming. The NCRG is the only national nonprofit organization that is dedicated to funding research on gambling disorders and increasing awareness about responsible gaming.  

The event, held May 10 at Cascata in Boulder City, Nevada, is annually sponsored by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers and the American Gaming Association. Major sponsors included AGEM, AGA, Aristocrat,

JCM Global, Konami, MEI, PayCheck 4 Thermal Printer and Patriot Gaming. Other sponsors included Caesars Entertainment, Corporate Concepts, G2E, Gaming Laboratories International, LG, Outdoor Solutions, Southwest Print Source, ViewSonic and Waffletechnology.

The event has raised nearly $950,000 in its 13-year history. As a result, organizers are aiming to “Drive for a Million” and raise $1 million total for the NCRG.

NCRG Chairman Glenn Christenson said, “We are thrilled and grateful to AGEM, the AGA, JCM Global and to everyone who participated in this event. Our job at the NCRG is to fund groundbreaking research in the field of gambling disorders and advance awareness about the importance of responsible gaming. Without the support of these incredible organizations and people, we could not do this vital work.”
