Empress of Time

This game carries a Jules Verne-esque turn-of-the-century time travel theme, but the game itself is a relatively simple take on mystery multipliers.

The base game is a five-reel “720 Ways” pay setup in a unique configuration—three spaces on the outer reels, four spaces on the second and fourth reels, and five spaces on the middle reel. With wins activated by adjacent symbols, there are 720 possible winning combinations on each spin.

The main feature present in both the primary game and free-spin round is jackpot multipliers. Multiplier symbols marked 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X can appear during base-game or free-game spins to multiply pays for each winning combination. When more than one multiplier type appears in a single spin, those multipliers are added together to result in one giant multiplier. Multiplier symbols increase any win, regardless of where they appear on the game screen—they do not have to be a part of a winning combination to multiply the pays on a spin.

Five Free Game symbols in a winning combination trigger the free-spin bonus. Players are awarded eight free games with an initial multiplier of 5X. During the free games, any multipliers that appear on the reels are added together. At the end of the feature, all wins are multiplied by the overall Free Games multiplier. According to the manufacturer, this feature occurs on average every 183 plays and pays on average 25 credits times the total bet.
